Currently recruiting for a global wholesale organisation. Seeking a Business Development Manager who will oversee the day-to-day operations and sales across all key marketplace platforms from managing existing stocks, sales, promotions to the seamless integrations and launch of new products and marketplaces. The successful candidate will nurture and develop relationships with both new and existing clients.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

1. Create and manage product listing/product catalogue, including detailed descriptions, images, pricing and inventory.
2. Analysing key performing metrics to identify areas of improvement with actionable strategies.
3. Collaborate with cross functions product design teams to optimise sales and service.
4. Monitor sales and returns, presenting appropriate actions, alongside monitoring stock to prevent out-of-stock issue.
5. Present and implement effective technical SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings driving traffic websites.
6. Perform competitor analysis to identify and present potential product opportunities.
7. You will be prepared to travel throughout the UK with some overnight stays if and when necessary.

Business Development Manager Skills:

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills
2. Ideally 2-3 years' experience within marketplaces and B2B sales
3. Experience managing ads, with an understanding of performance metrics
4. Highly analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail
5. Ability to adapt and change to moving and evolving plans and strategies
6. Self-motivated and well-organised with the ability to work well under pressure
7. Full UK Valid driving licence
