We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work within our Publishing Division within EMEA.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you have a proven passion for sales and customer retention within a SAAS environment on a multinational scale.

The primary responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include the ability to generate, track and convert new sales leads into new customers, managing, retaining and expanding the sales within the existing customer base and supporting the sales and support staff through training and knowledge transfer.

The role holder will also be efficient at analyzing sales data and market trends in order to maximize the opportunities available and identify new areas for growth.

A high level of self-management is required, along with good communication and relationship building skills. This role will also require in depth knowledge of the product and as such the ability to learn and retain the key information confidently will be vital to the success of the role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, lead qualification, and opportunity management.

· Negotiate and close contracts and agreements with new prospects, customers and partners.

· Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.

· Utilise new technologies and work with marketing to form target campaigns

· Develop and implement sales processes, methodologies and tooling to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.

· Manage whitespace opportunities and identify customers to nurture through entire sales life cycle

· Manage the Hubspot CRM system, including data quality, reporting, and analysis.

· Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

· Provide feedback and recommend innovative projects to optimize business processes and increase revenue.

Identifying customer at risk of taking their business elsewhere and identifying and implementing ways to reduce/eliminate their exit

Basic Salary £50,000 - £60,000 OTE £100,000

Education, Experience, and Requirements

· At least 3 years proven sales and customer development experience within an EMEA setting or global

· Experience managing an end to end customer journey including providing input and improving associated support processes

· Experience using Salesforce

· Proven ability to conduct internal training and coaching

· Knowledge/experience of software, particularly SAAS

· A good communicator who is able to interact with peers and customers at all levels

· Willing to travel mainly within EMEA, but outside of this region too

· Experience working remotely

· Previous experience of the Publishing Industry, desirable but not essential

· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint

· Good literacy and numeracy skills

· Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate organizational and operational changes

· Effective planning and organizing abilities to meet deadlines and process time critical enquiries

· Capable of multitasking and managing numerous responsibilities simultaneously
