Business Development Manager - Buy to Let Mortgages Harrow Branch £60,000 - £65,000 12-Month FTC (likely to go permanent) Fully Office-Based

Our client, a leading international bank, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Originations team in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of driving Buy to Let (BTL) mortgage business, build lasting broker relationships, and grow the bank's retail presence in the UK mortgage market.

The Role: As a key member of the BTL Division, you will be responsible for sourcing, marketing, and developing new mortgage business through broker networks and direct channels. You will promote the bank's products, manage a strong business pipeline, and deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate new BTL mortgage business and meet individual and bank-wide sales targets
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with brokers, networks, and stakeholders
  • Promote brand awareness through meetings, events, and networking (including outside of standard working hours when required)
  • Act as key account manager for allocated brokers/networks
  • Support brokers with case submissions and ensure high-quality applications
  • Introduce new brokers and networks to expand market share
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and follow up on leads to maximise conversion and repeat business opportunities
About You
  • Strong track record in business development and relationship management
  • In-depth knowledge of Buy to Let mortgages and the mortgage marketplace
  • Experience in building a client base through internal and external networks
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Target-driven and self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment for mortgage lending
