As a Business Development Manager, you'll lead the growth of our franchise network by driving strategic partnerships and referral networks. You’ll work closely with Franchise Owners to help them grow their businesses, while engaging senior decision-makers across healthcare, local authorities, and community organisations to secure key relationships and expand the network. This results-driven role demands a proven sales leader with expertise in driving revenue and building lasting business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high-level business development strategies to secure key referral pathways.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including NHS commissioners, ICB’s, local authorities, healthcare executives, and industry influencers.
  • Supporting franchisees to identify and capitalise on strategic growth opportunities within their territory.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Analyse Franchise Owner Business Development plans, supporting to establish strategic actions and ensuring accountability for results.
  • Lead the delivery of our client acquisition mystery shop exercise, analyse results and coach our business owners to increase conversions and optimise sales pipeline.
  • Deliver impactful sales and business development training to enhance performance.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns aimed at attracting high-value partnerships.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure franchisees uphold the highest territory compliance and care standards while growing their businesses.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in senior-level business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the healthcare, domiciliary care, or franchising sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of successfully driving business growth and securing large-scale partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and implement effective growth plans.
  • A proactive and dynamic approach, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel is required.
