District Sales Executive – Southeast of England, including Ipswich, Cambridge, Oxford, Reading, Southampton, Portsmouth

Role: As the District Sales Executive, you will be working for a global logistics company that provides a wide range of services to facilitate the movement of goods and materials across international borders. Some of the key services offered include freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehouse and distribution, supply chain optimisation, project logistics and technology solutions. Your role will involve working from a provided list of prospective clients to map each account and identify key decision-makers. You will be responsible for securing meetings-either via Teams or in person-where you can uncover challenges within their processes and offer tailored solutions. You will receive support through referrals and leads to help drive success.

You will initially be office based in the London office, but as you start booking more meetings, you will start spending more time on the road and less time in the office. This will look like: Mondays and Fridays in the office for staff meetings with the remaining days on the road and working from home. There is an abundance of support working here, all employees are highly regarded and seen as long-term members of the company with a future of climbing the career ladder.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years selling B2B services, open on industry / sector experience e.g. Recruitment Background / Waste Management and Logistics is a bonus.
  • Experience in consultative selling, not price driven – need to add value in the product / service and have clear demonstration of doing so.
  • A natural relationship builder and problem solver.

Benefits:

  • £45,000 per annum. Realistic opportunity to double this through uncapped bonus structure
  • £5,400 per year car allowance.
