This company have a dynamic work environment, they believe in team work and trust, they would like creative minds and are always looking for innovation and new ideas. They are currently experiencing exciting growth plans with work orders and projects growing at a rapid rate, naturally this has led to the requirement for a Business Development Manager to lead their multi-disciplined team. You will be based at home travelling to customer sites to drive new business and manage existing clients.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify key players, potential clients, and market trends.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate and expand the market within Lift Control Systems and Elevator Door equipment, including any new products.
  • Sales and Client Acquisition
  • Identify and target elevator installers, consultants, and other potential clients in the designated territory.
  • A strong focus required on consultants
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the company
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure
  • Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms and agreements with clients.
  • Quotation creation.
  • Close deals and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Retain and grow with existing customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, addressing inquiries, concerns.
  • Continuously engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between departments.
  • LinkedIn presence to be utilised, with regular promotional posts added.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Relevant industry experience - Lifting industry is a must.
  • Proven experience in business development and sales, within the elevator industry.
  • Strong understanding of elevator equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
  • Ambitious, persuasive, diplomatic and, must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
