Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to join a supplier of Industrial IT and computer-based solutions, including embedded PCs, embedded computers, industrial computers, edge computing, computing hardware, IoT solutions, industrial networking, and edge connectivity.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK and should have a proven background in selling high-value projects within industrial IT solutions, computer-based solutions, IT integration (hardware & software), embedded PCs, industrial automation, or similar fields.

This is a fully remote position responsible for developing new business opportunities.

Package
  • Up to £70,000 depending on experience
  • Car allowance - £500 per month
  • Uncapped commission based on high-value orders, with higher percentages for new projects

Role
  • Selling industrial IT and computer-based solutions, including IT integration (hardware & software), embedded PCs, industrial computers, edge computing, IoT solutions, industrial networking, and edge connectivity
  • Working from home, covering the UK
  • Selling high-value projects typically between £500,000 and £1M
  • Selling into sectors such as Defence, Healthcare, Automation, Transportation, and Communications
  • Business development and account management
  • Opportunity nurturing and relationship building
  • Networking at industry events to meet potential prospects
  • Collaborating with the bid team to prepare sales quotations and proposals

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, or similar role

  • Track record in project or solutions selling
