Are you a strong relationship builder and confident in closing a deal? This could be a great role for you. I am working with a South Wales based business looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to operate in South East England. This role is well suited to a candidate with a background in sales and business development who is looking to grow and develop their career. As part of a wider organisation, this will afford you the opportunity to develop your career into a multitude of different avenues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales within the South East territory, focusing on electrical wholesalers, lighting distributors, contractors, and consultants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the region, securing new accounts and expanding market share.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, with a strong focus on increasing revenue and profitability for the territory.
  • Attend site meetings and deliver presentations to contractors, wholesalers, and consultants to promote lighting solutions.

Requirements:

  • Driving License
  • Experience dealing with electrical wholesalers will be beneficial to applicants.
  • Outbound sales experience.
  • Sales and Business Development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
