Here at Chubb Fire & Security, we have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team based in the North West Region on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Description
  1. Take responsibility for identifying prospects within your addressable market and engaging them directly and through the Demand Generation Team.
  2. Identify the sweet spot for our CVP and align it with unconsidered customer needs to create urgency in their decision-making.
  3. Invest in effective research of prospects to identify compelling opportunities.
  4. Prepare persuasive discussion points that demonstrate the necessity of change to prospects.
  5. Engage multiple customer stakeholders and the Buying Team to build clarity and momentum in proposals.
  6. Create strategies for desired prospects, including value propositions, key stakeholder targets, and engagement strategies (LinkedIn, email, phone, events, etc.).
  7. Coordinate with Chubb Subject Matter Experts to support opportunity progression through the sales funnel.
  8. Apply the Chubb SIREN sales methodology approach.
  9. Collaborate with your sales team and support functions to share learning and contribute to success across the organization.
  10. Leverage CRM tools to manage your results.
  11. Achieve quarterly and annual margin and revenue sales targets.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field (preferable).
  2. Established sales methodology to underpin opportunity creation, navigation, and securing decisions.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly express technical and non-technical concepts.
  4. Proven track record of achievement with significant new business development success from both self-generated and incoming leads.
  5. Creative mindset to conceive innovative service and product combinations.
  6. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and adapt to new environments.
  7. Develop business plans with key milestones for success.
  8. Strong business acumen and adaptability to various markets and products.
  9. Experience in technical sales is an advantage.
  10. Experience in the Fire industry is an advantage.
  11. Commercial awareness.
  12. Advanced IT skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, and PowerPoint (training available).
  13. Driving Licence.

  1. Up to £55,000 basic salary with OTE around £90,000 (uncapped).
