Role

Position: Business Development Manager (permanent contract) – Solihull site.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager on a permanent contract for our site in Solihull.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, qualify and win new businesses within agreed parameters.
  • Qualify, distribute and close inbound leads from web and marketing activities.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop campaigns to generate leads within agreed market sectors.
  • Manage a pipeline of customer opportunities from inception to a win.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant products and services.
  • Develop internal relationships with colleagues across the business to provide the best level of service to customers.
  • Actively assist and support colleagues as required.

  • Commercially-minded with experience of winning new business.
  • Ability to build rapport and influence senior external stakeholders.
  • Confident telephone manner and tenacious sales approach.
  • Self-motivated and confident in using initiative.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, confident and possess an entrepreneurial flair. The successful candidate will be professional, proactive and have experience of managing an existing customer base, as well as developing new business.

  • Salary:
    • Basic: £31 800 - £44 400
    • OTE: £4 200 - £17 640
    • Total: £31 800 – £62 040
