This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role where you’ll be accountable for performance, strategy, and building powerful stakeholder relationships to grow our presence and deliver measurable impact.

If you’re a strategic thinker with commercial acumen, a passion for quality, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, manage, and develop our Referrals, Assessment, and Admissions team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and accountability.

Drive occupancy growth and service expansion, identifying new opportunities in both mental health and learning disability supported living models.

Build and nurture relationships with commissioners, local authorities, developers, and housing partners, resolving challenges and aligning services to need.

Oversee and contribute to bid writing and tender submissions, creating strategies based on market intelligence and service mapping.

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and People teams to deliver on ambitious organisational goals.

Act as a key ambassador for Northern Healthcare, representing our values and vision to external stakeholders and internal teams alike.

Use CRM and digital systems effectively to drive reporting, decision-making, and business insights.

Produce and present high-level business cases and growth strategies to executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Proven leadership experience in a commercial, business development, or service expansion role, ideally within health or social care.

Track record of managing teams to exceed KPIs, deliver growth, and foster stakeholder confidence.

Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex challenges, write compelling business cases, and lead on new service mobilisation.

Strong understanding of the healthcare commissioning landscape, supported living, and mental health pathways.

Excellent communicator and relationship-builder who can work cross-functionally and inspire trust.

Confident with digital systems (e.g. CRM platforms), reporting tools, and project planning software.

Willing and able to travel across the UK to support services and attend key meetings.

What You'll Get in Return

The opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while shaping the future of our services.

A collaborative, high-performing leadership team that supports innovation and rewards initiative.

Competitive salary plus bens

Flexible working environment and nationwide exposure to complex, fast-paced service development.

Structured development opportunities and support from senior executives.
