  • Job Title: Business Development Manager
  • Contract: Perm
  • Location: Northwest
  • Pay: up to 60k

SRG are working with a client seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a field-based customer-facing role.

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to promote and sell a range of products/services in both the Acute and primary care sectors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow product market share through both established and new relationships.
  • Create clear and compelling solution-based value propositions through engagement with key NHS customers within primary & secondary care.
  • Accountable for business/account plans development and delivery of the business.
  • Build advocacy across acute settings (regionally/UK).
  • Develop and utilise an in-depth understanding of the NHS long-term plan and how that influences the future of the market.
  • Lead on market analysis, including health economics to influence NHS thinking and drive commitment to working in partnership.

About You:

  • Possesses a good knowledge of economics and how current market trends influence sales, including Solution & Value Selling requiring a consultative selling approach.
  • Is persuasive and can easily influence others and build a team culture.
  • Possesses good customer relationship and service skills; able to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Demonstrates creativity.
  • Highly computer literate, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
