Job description

You'll work closely with the Head of Business Development to shape and execute go-to-market strategies, engage with senior stakeholders, and grow a sustainable revenue stream, in support of our specialist consulting and resourcing services.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and meetings to proposal writing, closing deals, and ongoing account management
  • Identify and qualify market demand across capital markets
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients and opportunities
  • Design bespoke solutions in collaboration with our internal consulting and delivery teams
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Act as a brand ambassador and advocate of GreySpark's thought leadership, values, and service offerings

Requirements:
  • Sales experience: 2-5 years, preferably in a service-led organisation like consulting or recruitment services for the financial services industry
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding commercial targets
  • Confident, credible communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with senior-level executives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A self-starter mindset; proactive, driven, and curious
  • Team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work outside of the office (attending client sites, events, etc.)
  • Ability to work flexible working hours and be responsive, given the nature of being in a client-facing role

Nice to have:
  • Experience selling consulting, resourcing, or expertise-led solutions
  • Familiarity with financial services, especially investment banking or fintech
  • A relevant industry network or contact base
