About Us

At Boston Energy, we are a key player in the energy sector, dedicated to driving the future of wind power. Our Business Development team is pivotal in fueling our ambitious growth, with a focus on Wind Turbines, particularly in the Warranty, Service, and Maintenance phases. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help us expand our presence in this exciting space.

What You’ll Do

As our Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts to identify and secure new business opportunities within the Wind Industry. Your role will be integral to our market expansion and revenue growth through direct and indirect sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Develop and execute innovative lead generation strategies to keep the pipeline full of qualified prospects.
  • Sales & Client Acquisition: Build compelling sales presentations and proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Achieve or exceed sales targets while building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competitive landscapes, providing strategic insights that inform our business development strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business development plans and identify new market segments and partnerships. Work closely with teams across the business to achieve shared objectives.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, providing regular updates on progress, performance, and sales pipeline health.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: At least 5 years in business development or sales within the Wind Industry, with deep knowledge of the lifecycle stages of Wind Turbines.
  • Market Experience: A background in working with OEMs, energy utilities, and end-users, such as RWE, Orsted, EnBW, Vattenfall, etc. Familiarity with key work packages like Heavy Lift, Campaigns, and Planned Maintenance is essential.
  • Skills:
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
  • Expertise in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset
  • Education:
  • Essential: HND or equivalent qualification
  • Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
