We are seeking driven, confident, and experienced Business Development Managers.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing accounts effectively and profitably.

The successful Business Development Manager will work remotely and will need to travel to the Shipley area (BD postcode) for the second interview.

You will successfully develop new business across all market sectors within the defined territory.

There are two available BDM roles; the territories include:

• South-West Scotland
• Northern Ireland & North-East

Business Development Manager - Experience

• At least 4 years proven experience as a Business Development Manager
• Industry experience is desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving license

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of existing Business Account customers, ensuring development, profitability, and service of these accounts.
• Proactively developing new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Regular liaison with internal sales and customer service teams to ensure excellent handling of Business Account customers.
• Developing and maintaining an effective journey cycle.
• Planning and preparing for sales calls.
• Writing accurate visit reports on the Contact Log of the company’s business system promptly.
• Being perceived as the prime contact for all sales and service issues by customers.
• Identifying and targeting prospect accounts to pursue new business.
• Ensuring close liaison with credit control.
