Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Manager, Business Development to lead a high-performing SaaS BD team and deliver a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. You will build, coach, and mentor a group of BDRs, ensuring timely follow-up and pipeline contribution across inbound and outbound initiatives.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to align strategy, optimize performance, and foster accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills (from HTML).
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role managing a team of 4+ Business Development Representatives.
• Proven track record of exceeding pipeline targets while leading an outbound team.
• Deep knowledge of prospecting strategies, lead qualification, and sales development best practices.
• Strong proficiency with sales technology tools (CRM, sales engagement, intent data, prospecting tools).
• Data- and metrics-driven approach to performance management and strategy.
• Proactive and self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in conflict management, approaching tough conversations with empathy and clarity.

The Work You\'ll Do

As Manager, Business Development, you will lead a high-performing SaaS Business Development team, driving growth and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
