Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with commissioners and placement teams within local authorities.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new placement opportunities, ensuring that the needs of children and young people remain central to service growth.
  • Lead on tendering and framework applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and policy changes within children\'s social care to inform strategy and service development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business opportunities with operational capacity and high-quality care delivery.
Requirements

About You:

  • Proven experience in business development, commissioning, or contracts management within children\'s social care (or a closely related sector).
  • Strong knowledge of local authority commissioning processes and frameworks.
