Job summary

LAW Absolute is seeking an experienced BD Manager to join its finance practice and partner with senior leaders across the team. You will drive client development, events and campaigns, and play a key role in planning and budgeting for the department.

You will bring prior BD experience in a law firm, ideally within finance, and a genuine interest in the markets. The role reports to the Senior BD Manager and partners across the practice rely on your judgment and initiative.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a law firm in a BD role.
• Finance practice BD experience is advantageous but not required if there is genuine interest.

• Support Partners in targeting potential clients and developing relationships.
• Keep abreast of developments, legislation, and regulations to inform BD conversations.
• Coordinate and host internal and external events, seminars, webinars and socials.
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to business planning and monitor spend against budget.

A top law firm is looking for an experienced BD Manager to sit within their dedicated finance practice. Reporting to the Senior BD Manager, you will be the go to contact for the partners across the practice.

Highlights

• Support the Partners in targeting potential clients and further developing existing relationships.
• Keep abreast of relevant developments, legislation, and regulations to build and broaden understanding of department’s work, enabling knowledgeable conversations and BD recommendations.
• Co-ordinate and host internal and external events, seminars, webinars and socials.
• Support on the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns.
• Business planning including contributing to the budgeting process within your area of responsibility and monitoring spend against budget.

The successful candidate will have worked at another law firm in a similar BD role. Having worked within finance practice would be a clear advantage but the firm will consider candidates who have a genuine interest in those markets
