Business Development Manager
Location: Oxford | Salary: Competitive + Commission | Full-Time | Hybrid Working Available

We are working in partnership with a well-established and growing procurement solutions business to recruit a Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-run company that has been operating for over 30 years and is known for helping businesses save money without compromising on quality.

About the Company
Our client is part of a wider group and has built a strong reputation since launching its purchasing division in 2013. They specialise in helping businesses across various sectors optimise their procurement processes, working with a wide range of suppliers including wholesalers, fresh food providers, catering equipment specialists, and utility and waste management companies.

The Role
As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team with a clear mission: to deliver value and savings to clients through smart purchasing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and win new business
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across multiple sectors
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs


Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A consultative and proactive approach to client engagement
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain (preferred but not essential)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
