Overview

Business Development Manager - Parental Nutrition

South Wales, South West & West Midlands

As a PN Business Development Manager (BDM), you would be reporting directly to the National Sales Manager (NSM) and working within the PN Business Stream as part of a multi-disciplinary sales team. This role is full-time and field-based across South Wales, the South West and West Midlands, so the ideal candidate would be based within this geography. This is a great role for a Dietitian, a Clinical Specialist or a candidate with healthcare/pharmaceutical sales experience.

Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specializes in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.

Our product portfolio included a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the tactical element of the marketing plan through delivery of key messages to the target audience as directed by the PN Sales and Marketing management teams
  • Exceed sales versus target for promotional priorities
  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies for both Fresenius Kabi and competitor key accounts
  • Work with the NSM to develop solutions/presentations for tender submissions for target accounts
  • Work with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business in all Fresenius Kabi accounts
  • Consistently communicate with all relevant personnel, on business objectives and provide detailed call notes on the CRM
  • Work to set call rate guidelines as identified by the NSM and associated activity reporting via the Fresenius Kabi CRM System
  • Take the lead role in developing and implementing account business plans
  • Work with the management team to develop successful sales strategies in your designated key accounts
  • Liaise with all relevant departments and personnel to achieve business objectives. In particular, your NSM, MSLs, Marketing and Customer Services
Qualifications
  • Life science degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales or the NHS
  • Demonstrate good business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
