Business Development Manager

Location: Remote (occasional office visits)
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 base + uncapped commission

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join the team and play a key role in growing our client base across the UK. This is a B2B sales role focused on selling outsourced HR support and legal advisory services to HR professionals and business decision-makers within mid-sized and larger organisations.

You will be responsible for generating new business while also cross-selling into existing clients, supported by warm leads from our internal marketing and lead generation team. However, the ability to generate your own opportunities through outreach and networking is equally important.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and inbound leads
  • Sell a consultative portfolio of HR and employment law services to HR leaders and C-suite stakeholders
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in mid-market and large organisations
  • Cross-sell additional services into existing client accounts, identifying growth opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to close
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, legal experts, and account management
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting via CRM systems
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, within professional services (outsourced HR support services & legal services)
  • Experience selling to HR professionals and/or business leaders at a senior level
  • Skilled at both inbound lead conversion and outbound prospecting
  • Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling approach
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely
