Business Development Manager

• Position: Business Development Manager
• Salary: up to £33,000 plus commission
• Location: Eastbourne
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm (part time considered)

My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team. As a Business Development Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals, telesales, and canvassing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to spot growth opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.

To succeed in this Business Development Manager role, you will need:

• At least 1 year of experience in business development or sales (essential).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to market changes.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales principles.
• A valid driving licence (required).
