Job Title: Business Development Manager Fire & Security Systems

Full-time, Permanent

Are you a driven sales professional with a background in fire and security systems? Were looking for a Business Development Manager to join our established sales team and play a key role in growing our client base across a range of sectors.

Youll be responsible for generating and closing project sales opportunities for a wide range of systems, including Fire Detection, Sprinklers, Suppression, Security, Voice, Monitoring and Integrated Solutions. This is a great opportunity to work with both new and existing clients, helping them protect their people, property, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities with end users and FM providers
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and sector clients
  • Conducting site surveys and preparing accurate, compelling proposals
  • Managing the sales process from quote to close, meeting targets for volume and margin
  • Creating maintenance quotations and responding effectively to inbound enquiries
  • Producing clear, professional quotes using company tools and formats
  • Keeping systems updated, and reporting regularly on sales performance

What Youll Bring

  • Proven experience in fire and security sales or a related technical role
  • Strong knowledge of systems such as Fire Detection, PAVA, EVCS, Suppression
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in structured sales or sales training (desirable)
  • FIA (or equivalent) certification in fire detection and alarm systems
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems
  • A high level of integrity and attention to detail
