Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Location: City of London, UK (UK Wide Remote Working Option)

Salary: up to £70,000 (DOE) + 10% Commission (Lifetime of Account) · Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm

Are you a results driven, sales hungry, Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager or Sales Manager, looking for a new role in the heart of London? This role could be right for you!

My client is offering a fantastic package to help grow their business in the Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Road and Ocean/Sea Freight.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
  • To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
  • Be the forefront of the company's development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.
Requirements
  • Freight Forwarding Sales/Account Management/Business Development Manager experience.
  • Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
  • Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
