Our award-winning client, using state-of-the-art technology and a highly skilled workforce, designs, produces, and delivers innovative print products to a loyal customer base. They are seeking a positive, passionate Business Development Manager with a can-do attitude to generate and implement a sales strategy alongside the Head of Sales & Marketing to meet new business sales targets.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain prospecting and customer CRM activities, ensuring all activity is recorded.
  • Cold calling and follow-up on Sales Force leads.
  • Research potential customers and develop new sales relationships.
  • Implement and execute a sales development plan to meet targets within budget.
  • Follow up with prospects and clients through marketing activities and event invitations.
  • Develop strategies for increasing sales volume and profitability.
  • Provide market analysis to support business development.
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities in relevant sectors.
  • Manage onboarding of new customers and ensure smooth handover to account management teams.
  • Provide sales forecasts to support planning.
  • Assist with marketing PR activities, web marketing, and trade magazine publications.
  • Protect margins on existing accounts and develop own sales team for long-term growth.

The ideal candidate is a strong closer, highly target-driven, with excellent negotiation skills to protect margins and identify opportunities for growth. You should be adept at building relationships with decision-makers and capable of growing accounts after initial acquisition. Solution selling skills are essential to fully understand client issues and propose tailored, cost-effective solutions.
