Job description

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for innovative packaging solutions? I am seeking a dynamic professional to drive new business opportunities in the plastic and protective paper sectors of the business and expand market presence within the packaging sector.


Business Development Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Benefits: life insurance (4x salary), 4% pension, hybrid car, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 15% Bonus (Uncapped) expenses covered etc.
Location: Luton

The Role:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities with distributors/end users.
  2. 80% - 20% new business to account management.
  3. Utilise market data to build a pipeline.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  5. Analyse market position, profitability and competitive impact.
  6. Provide tailored packaging solutions to meet customer requirements.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  8. Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.

About You:

  1. Proven experience in business development or sales within the packaging or related sectors.
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Be able to manage and nurture a small customer portfolio.
  5. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
