Business Development Manager

Midlands

£40,000 - £45,000 + Car + Commission

Winner FM are working with an established company who pride themselves on their delivery service at an exceptional level within the man guarding industry. Our client is dynamic and passionate about their sector with a huge focus on innovation and technology.

The business has an extensive history within the industry with an excellent reputation and is constantly looking for new ways to adapt within the market and support their staff.

Our client has identified the need for a Business Development Manager who will sit within their Midlands team, predominantly working on onboarding new clients and contracts.

Your role and responsibilities:

  1. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling products and services such as Security guarding and dog handling.
  2. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities through face-to-face sales and telesales.
  3. Booking and attending sales meetings, pitching man guarding solutions, and presenting to clients.
  4. You will continuously build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring good rapport and increasing revenue and brand awareness.
  5. You will utilise the CRM system to record and create a sales pipeline and manage all client interactions and data.
  6. Implementing new technology and ideas with a forward-thinking approach, driving innovation within the business.
  7. You will utilise various platforms such as LinkedIn to aid with brand identity and promotion.
  8. Prepare quotes for clients and present these using the cost model system and submit tenders for new business.
  9. You will conduct security surveys during client visits to assess their needs.

What will you need for the role:
  1. Previous experience within the security sector of 3 years or more.
  2. Experience working within a sales environment and driving new revenue.
  3. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on delivering exceptional standards.
  4. Positive attitude, determination, and resilience with a warm and vibrant personality.
  5. Ability to source and understand client needs to provide tailored solutions.
  6. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  7. Driving licence and a willingness to travel.
