Overview of the Role

The role of the Business Development Manager is to drive partnerships and customer

engagement across Ludo, developing a strategic sales action plan to achieve

their pre-booked target, total sales and profit targets of the venues and company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing key

relationships with external partners to enhance our brand visibility and attract new

audiences, converting these relationships into bookings and events driving revenue and

profit, all while providing excellent customer service and after care throughout.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorship sales, ideally within the sports, hospitality, or entertainment industries.
  • Strong understanding of the sports media landscape and commercial partnerships within football and rugby.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative partnership opportunities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sports, hospitality, and customer engagement.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
