Position Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will focus on expanding our presence in the public sector, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the public sector energy market.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets and expand market share.
  3. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior staff members at existing clients and industry partners.
  4. Proposal Development: Support on the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new contracts and projects.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful development of new and current business and customer satisfaction.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all business development activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the energy sector, with a focus on public sector clients being desirable but not essential.
