Overview

Catering equipment is a fundamental service that Hospitality, Catering, Events, Healthcare and many other sectors need. We are working with a globally recognised brand that are distributors for these services, offering a one-stop shop for products such as Clothing, PPE, Cutlery, Appliances, Tableware, Table Services, Furniture, and Commercial Kitchen Equipment, plus Cleaning solutions. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the market in Central/North Region (Midlands and North).

Territory: Central/ North Region - Midlands and North

Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new business in the Hospitality sector and related customers (e.g., Hotels, NHS, Universities, independent hotels, restaurant chains, care homes).
  • Sell into the existing portfolio while also introducing new products such as PPE, clothing, cleaning supplies, and other services.
  • Ask strategic, insightful questions to understand client needs and build rapport, opening opportunities across a wider range of products.
  • Aim for approximately 12 appointments per week, including touchpoints, with meetings scheduled in advance.
  • Work within a collaborative team environment and participate in training offered by the company.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in hospitality/hospitality-related sectors; experience selling into hotels, NHS, universities, independent hotels, restaurant chains, or care homes is preferred.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships, upsell across product categories, and strategically grow client accounts.
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive, and capable of managing multiple prospects and leads.
  • Knowledge of OTE and clear expectations for earnings and targets.
