LOCATION: Hybrid Working with your time split working from home and the office in Bedford (MK44)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a New Business Development Manager with a proven track record of closing high-value, enterprise-level deals.
Working as a New Business Development Manager you will thrive on uncovering opportunities, developing tailored solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and build strong relationships, provide bespoke solutions, and contribute to increased sales across the organisation.
As a New Business Development Manager you will be responsible for creating and progressing a healthy pipeline, working strategically to achieve long-term sales targets and through outreach, networking, and insight you will help connect more businesses to the company’s services.
DUTIES
Your duties as a New Business Development Manager will include:
• Proactively generate outbound leads, build a strong pipeline, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close
• Use a consultative, data-informed approach to understand prospect needs and offer tailored solutions
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in large, complex organisations
• Represent the company at industry events to elevate their brand and uncover new opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to progress deals with transparency and integrity
• Use CRM and sales tools to plan, forecast, and continuously improve sales performance
• Champion continuous improvement and lead with a positive, proactive mindset
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven track record of closing high-value, enterprise-level deals
• Experience selling into large organisations (5,000+ employees) with complex stakeholder structures
• Exposure to managing long, consultative sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers
• Experience of using AI or modern sales technologies to drive insights and performance
• Strong understanding of structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC)
• Experience of interpreting data to make informed decisions with a commercial mindset.
• Understanding of HR or recruitment industry trends and challenges is desirable
