Our client, a leading global services provider in the Oil & Gas and Energy sector—specializing in Drilling Rigs, FPSOs, and Offshore Renewables—is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead sales initiatives and accelerate revenue growth.

The company is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This is a high-impact role suited for an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and business development, particularly within the Oil & Gas, FPSO, and Renewables sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing new business, managing key client relationships, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

You will be responsible for spearheading the company’s growth strategy by identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective and existing clients, and delivering tailored technical and commercial solutions. A technical background—preferably in Drilling or FPSO operations—combined with strong commercial instincts and customer relationship management skills will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue business opportunities across the Oil & Gas, FPSO, and Renewables industries. Develop and implement lead generation strategies and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Understand client needs and project requirements to present customized value-driven proposals.
  • Sales Delivery: Set and consistently exceed sales and revenue targets. Demonstrate high drive, persistence, and a “hunter” mentality when approaching new markets and accounts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends. Share insights with internal teams to help refine service offerings and support strategic planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical, operations, and commercial teams to ensure a unified, client-focused approach to service delivery. Provide customer feedback to enhance the company’s offerings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors.
  • A strong existing network in the region, with relationships across relevant industry players.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and analytical abilities to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
