Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, French speaking Business Development Export Manager to join our client's Sales & Marketing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's international market presence, developing strategic marketing initiatives, and building strong relationships with distributors, agents, and sales partners to drive sustainable growth across designated export regions. This role is offered on a hybrid working arrangement of two days per week in the office and three days from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with international customers, including distributors, OEMs, and end-users.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and implement strategic sales and marketing plans.
  3. Conduct market research to gather data on competitors, product performance, and industry trends to generate reports.
  4. Appoint and manage distributors, agents, and sales partners within allocated regions.
  5. Prepare strategic sales reports and provide insights into key performance indicators.
  6. Support the marketing team in implementing regional and global marketing strategies.
  7. Ensure compliance with GDPR and health & safety regulations.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
  2. Technical qualification or relevant experience.
  3. Proven track record in international sales, B2B and business development, preferably in the food and/or manufacturing sectors.
  4. Proficiency in English and French (additional languages are an advantage).
  5. Proven track record in relationship management with internal/external stakeholders and customers.
  6. Proficiency in IT systems.

  2. Hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.00pm, flexibility required to work round different time zones.
