Business Development Executive (Training Solutions)

* Their purpose built and industry specific training centre provides practical custom facilities and classrooms for training across a number of sectors.
* Sectors include Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Renewables, Transport, Construction, Aviation, Food & Drink and Public Sector.
* Due to growth, acquisition and a new rebrand they have a new sales focus and are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive in Aberdeen.

The Role

As a Business Development Executive you will be:

1. Selling a range of off the shelf and bespoke training solutions.
2. Working with an existing base of client accounts and generating new business customers.
3. Following a structured sales plan and sales model to build a sales funnel.
4. Self-sourcing and generating new leads.
5. Liaising and negotiating with key decision makers both over the phone, face to face and using video.
6. Identifying training and customer needs.
7. Helping to create, design and issue proposals tailored to client needs to ensure results.
8. With existing clients, you will be responsible for building, nurturing and developing account relationships with key decision makers.
9. Presenting solutions over the phone, face to face and using video.
10. Maintaining a sales database with up-to-date information.
11. Following processes & procedures, and staying up to date with relevant legislation.
12. Representing the company at trade shows and events.
13. Working to quarterly/yearly targets.

The Candidate

1. To apply you will require sales experience from any sector (B2B or B2C) or experience in recruitment consultancy.
2. You will have a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing clients.
3. Consultative in your approach to solution selling.
4. Passionate about developing new business opportunities.
5. Able to negotiate at all levels.
6. Strong presentation skills.
7. Knowledge of a range of industries: for example, oil and gas, renewables, food and drink, construction, aviation, public sector.
8. Able to understand, present and articulate information to clients.
9. You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive with the ability to develop long term relationships.
10. Demonstrate past success and a desire to be the best at what you do.
