The Company

A global research and insights organization based in St Albans (near the station), providing market insight, bespoke research, and market trackers for companies mainly in consumer electronics, media, entertainment, and EdTech sectors. Clients include Apple, Microsoft, Google, Sky, ITV, among others. Despite the pandemic, they have continued to grow revenues significantly due to the high quality of their research and insights.

The Role of Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you will initially undergo extensive training to develop key sales skills and understand the benefits of the research solutions you will sell. Your focus will be on the EdTech and professional displays sectors, providing clients with invaluable insights.

Once trained, about 80% of your time will be spent selling to new clients globally, with 20% on account management. Every new client you acquire will be retained, shifting your focus more towards account management over time.

You will learn to manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing and client management. International client meetings will also be part of your role.
