Burness Paull LLP is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will support the Banking, Funds, Technology, and Commercial teams, delivering business development and marketing initiatives across practice areas.

You will manage projects, help run bespoke client events, conduct market and client research, and prepare proposals and presentations, working with lawyers from associates to partners across the UK and internationally.

Business Development Executive | Business Development & Marketing

Are you a proactive and driven Business Development Executive looking to make a real impact?

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team in Edinburgh or Glasgow, supporting our Banking & Funds and Technology & Commercial teams. You’ll play an important role in delivering and executing a range of business development and marketing initiatives across both practice areas.

No two days will be the same – you’ll manage and deliver business development and marketing projects, lead on delivering bespoke client-facing events, support with client and market research and create and update team sheets and credentials, proposals and presentations. You’ll work across all levels of the teams, collaborating with junior lawyers through to partners, and gain exposure to a broad range of clients and sectors across the UK and internationally.

We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar fast-paced environment who thrives on balancing multiple tasks, building strong relationships and taking ownership of their work. Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous.
