Business Development Executive – Automotive Aftermarket

Building our UK sales team:

We are working with a globally recognised manufacturer to hire, build, and grow their UK Aftermarket Sales Development and Field Based Sales Support teams across the UK. The focus will be on increasing brand and product visibility while providing sales support through trade workouts to the Independent Automotive Aftermarket, including Motor Factors, ITG Buying Group members, Automotive Workshops, distributors, and retailers.

Salary: Circa £35k + Bonus + Car/Allowance + Pension + Training & PPD

Our ideal candidate:

Has experience within the Automotive Aftermarket as a Sales Representative, Trade Parts Sales, or in a field-based Business Development role, and understands parts distribution & supply chains from supplier to garages and workshops. We are also interested in hearing from internal parts sales staff eager to develop a field sales career.

8 Key Skills:

  • Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket in a sales-driven or field-based environment.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong people skills to train and engage mechanics, parts staff, and distributors.
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexible to travel regionally and overnight as needed.
  • Professional appearance, punctual, and able to make excellent first impressions.
  • Aspiring and eager to work with a global leader in the Automotive Aftermarket.
