Cosine Group is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to champion Diageo’s premium brands in off-trade retailers around Wakefield and nearby areas. You will visit grocery multiples such as ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons to grow promotions and strengthen in-store presence.

The role demands a sales mindset, tenacity, and the ability to analyse in-store data to hit targets. A UK driving licence is essential and full training is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Fantastic Business Development Executive opportunity in your area – working for CPM representing Diageo and its products in the off-trade retail sector. Salary: up to £28,500 per annum plus up to £3,000 bonus & company car.

Ideal location: Wakefield, United Kingdom, WF2

Territory covering: Barnsley, Bradford, Castleford, Chapeltown, Chesterfield, Dewsbury, Dinnington, Doncaster, Elland, Halifax, Heckmondwike, Huddersfield, Keighley, Leeds, Pontefract, Rotherham, Rothwell, Sheffield, Skipton, Thurnscoe, Wakefield, Wetherby, Yeadon and surrounding areas

Working for CPM as a Business Development Executive you will be a part of our Diageo off-trade team, calling into Grocery multiples such as ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Morrisons. Your aim is to increase awareness of Diageo’s innovative brands and ensure that opportunities to promote these brands have been maximized.

Whilst this is a Business Development Executive role, all the stores will already stock some or all the brands, so your persuasive and relationship-building skills will be key to ensuring that all in-store opportunities have been put in place and ensuring all stores on your territory fulfil their potential.

As a Business Development Executive for CPM, the brands you will work with include:

Smirnoff, Gordon’s, Guinness, Captain Morgan’s, Baileys, Johnnie Walker, and Tanqueray.

A typical day for a Business Development Executive will include:

• Carrying out face-to-face visits into off-trade multiple retailers on your territory.
• Advising key stakeholders on promotions and increasing awareness of the whole product range and, in turn increasing sales.
• Using the great data provided to check stock levels and resolve any potential problems.
• Ensuring the agreed shelf space and displays are in place to maximize sales.
• Using your local market and sector knowledge to draw up bespoke business plans and make informed recommendations to store managers.
• Reporting during and after each call on the tablet provided, sharing invaluable competitor information with the business and your achievements in call too.
