Job description

Permanent position based in Tiverton, EX16.

Salary: GBP 28,000 - GBP 36,000 basic + commissions.

Working hours: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday. Hybrid options available following probation.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is working with an established manufacturing business in Tiverton that is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their sales team.

Main Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive
  • Prospecting for new customers using existing database, directories, and LinkedIn.
  • Following up on leads.
  • Liaising with the sales team and updating CRM.
  • Managing sales processes, including preparing quotes and following up on quotations.
  • Passing order details to the sales team.
  • Coordinating targeted campaigns with Marketing.
  • Attending trade shows and exhibitions.
Experience and Skills Required
  • Sales experience within an engineering industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and self-driven attitude.
  • Prospecting skills to identify potential customers.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software, ideally LinkedIn, but not essential.
  • This is not a technical position.
  • A proactive individual with the right attitude can succeed even with limited experience. The role offers potential for development into a leadership position within the new division.
