37.5 Hours per week (3 days in the office - Mon, Tue, Thu)

Are you passionate about IT and sales? We’re searching for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our client’s vibrant Software Division based in Newbury, Berkshire.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering between £30,000 - £33,000, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and loves working with cutting-edge UCaaS, CCaaS, and Cloud solutions.

Your role will be pivotal in growing channel sales for some of the most innovative vendors in the tech space, including Zoom, Microsoft, and Five9. Collaborate with talented teams like Business Development Managers, Pre-Sales, and Marketing — helping bring game-changing software solutions to a wider audience!

What You'll Be Doing
  • Identify and qualify new software opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital prospecting.
  • Engage channel partners to explore upsell and cross-sell possibilities and support product adoption.
  • Collaborate with BDMs and Pre-Sales to move opportunities forward, run discovery sessions, and craft tailored value propositions.
  • Support marketing campaigns, follow up on leads, and participate in events to generate new prospects.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity data within CRM systems like NetSuite or Salesforce to ensure reliable forecasting.
  • Aim to meet and exceed monthly KPIs related to pipeline, outreach, and revenue goals.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors such as Zoom and Microsoft to boost campaign engagement and educate partners.
  • Stay ahead of market trends in UCaaS, CCaaS, and collaboration software to keep our solutions competitive and innovative.
Who We're Looking For
  • Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within the tech distribution or channel environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, or HubSpot.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections and influence decision-makers.
  • A self-starter who loves outbound sales and thrives on hitting targets.
  • Ability to clearly present and demonstrate software solutions remotely.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset and willing to share insights to benefit the team.
  • Knowledge or experience in UCaaS, CCaaS, SaaS, or IT distribution is advantageous.
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
