Business Development Executive

Up to £35,000 plus up to 28% commission

We are recruiting a Business Development Executive for our client, a rapidly growing IT Solutions Provider, seeking to strengthen their sales team.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be part of a growing sales team with ambitions for significant growth over the next 5-10 years.

  1. Build and develop a client portfolio through multiple new business methods.
  2. Drive sales growth within existing accounts.
  3. Sell a range of CT service offerings: hardware, software, infrastructure solutions, security, AI, cloud, and professional services.
  4. Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  5. Engage with vendor, distributor, and partner networks.
  6. Attend meetings with customers, vendors, and industry events.
  7. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify opportunities.

To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  1. 1-3 years of sales experience at a VAR/IT Reseller.
  2. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue growth.
  3. Experience working towards a gross profit target.
  4. Highly driven, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Experience managing large, complex accounts and sales cycles.

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £35,000 plus a lucrative commission plan, potentially more than doubling the basic salary with on-target earnings.
