BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Executive to work within the Logistics sector for a leading European Transport and Distribution company in Immingham. This is a Permanent Vacancy with great opportunities to progress, offering a starting salary of up to £50,000 (dependant on experience) plus company car and competitive bonus scheme.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

The Business Development Executive role is Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for bringing on new business within the UK and European logistic market to maximise profits and increase customer base. Day to day you will be expected to;

· New business development within the UK and European markets - generating sales leads and opportunities to maximise profits

· Prepare and deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients

· Negotiating pricing and contracts for new business

· Attending new and existing client visits

· Finalising and closing deals including new client set up, customers documents and credit terms

· Preparing management reports

· Perform competitor analysis to establish market levels and opportunities

· Attend relevant trade seminars, exhibitions, and networking events

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Business Development Executive, you must;

· Have previous experience in logistics sales, specifically servicing the Belgium, German and Dutch markets

· Be an effective negotiator at all levels

· Have the ability to generate sales leads and achieve sales goals

· Be self-motivated and driven to deliver results

· Be competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

· Be prepared to ravel within the UK and abroad as necessary
