Qualifications

  • Experience within the Interior Design or Homeware industries (or a related qualification).
  • Ability to build strong, long-term business relationships across a diverse account base.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Strong communicator and influencer.
  • Results-focused with good commercial judgement.
  • Tenacious, highly energised and self-motivated with the ability to plan and manage your own weekly schedule.

Overview

Business Development Executive £30,000 + company car North West - home and road based

Axon Moore is pleased to be working in partnership with a unique and high-end wholesaler with international coverage. Due to growth plans, they have a newly created vacancy for a Business Development Executive to cover their North West region. Reporting to the Sales Director, the BDE will be accountable for managing and developing the North West account base consisting of a variety of business types such as retailers, interior designers, hoteliers and property developers, whilst providing the highest level of customer service and support as well as meeting or exceeding all sales and business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow annual sales revenues organically via enhanced sales support and excellent customer service.
  • Assess the existing account base to ensure the right businesses are supplied, all accounts are commercially viable, and the market position is maintained.
  • Proactively approach and secure new business opportunities.
  • Ensure seasonal buying patterns are established with all retail accounts.
  • Attend seasonal trade fairs, encouraging and increasing customer attendance and sales.
  • Communicate enthusiastically to customers about the company's product and services, educating them about new product ranges and trends to ensure a professional company and brand image is delivered.
  • Carry out regular showroom visits to strengthen product knowledge.
  • Maintain awareness of current interior design trends and competitor activity.
