As one of the market leading specialists in the field of R&D Tax credit claims, we are currently expanding our internal sales function due to an exciting period of growth.

We are looking for individuals with at least 1 years’ experience in R&D at a “sales/BD Executive” level to join us in our Bolton office. If you’re a top performer within your current role but looking for something new and exciting, with the opportunity to move away from purely lead generation & the chance to close your own deals, we want to speak to you!

The Role

Within this role we’ll be onboarding individuals with the capacity to take on our 360-business development process. You will be responsible for prospecting and onboarding new clients across the UK, discussing their Research & Development rebate eligibility. Within this role you will be expected to fill and manage your own diary, qualify prospects, negotiate contracts and close your own deals.

As an experienced lead generator / BD exec, you’ll already be used to speaking with 150-200 people a day, with great knowledge on how to win round gatekeepers, extract relevant information and secure the meeting – so this part should be a piece of cake?

Whether you already have experience closing, qualifying and negotiating, or if you are currently at the top of the team within a generating role but ready to take the next step in your career, we welcome your application.

We provide an exciting and comprehensive induction to equip you with all the knowledge you need to succeed & develop into a 360 sales role! This role plays a key part in accelerating the growth of the business by identifying and securing new clients.

This opportunity has scope to quickly progress into a Senior Business Development Exec or Manager role. Come in, hit the ground running and the sky is the limit!

A bit about you

Experience of working within a similar role would be preferred but we are always happy to take CVs from driven, motivated people that dream big and want to earn bigger!

We’d love to speak with anyone that is already working as an R&D specialist or has a professional services sales background, but this is not essential – we will give you all the training you need to get you up to speed!

  • Thrive working in a fast-paced and demanding office-based environment, enjoy working collaboratively and are ambitious and driven to progress a career in sales.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability for conversation and strong rapport building skills.
  • Possess strong attention to detail as first-time accuracy is essential.
  • Have a background in lead generation or appointment setting with the desire to progress into a technical sales role within the next 12 months.
