Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking company based in Exeter. With a strong focus on building long-term partnerships, they deliver exceptional service and expertise. With a vibrant team culture and a clear sense of purpose, they are now seeking a driven and confident Business Development Executive to join their growing team.

The Role:

This is a pivotal Business Development position focused on high-quality lead generation and booking valuable first-time appointments with senior decision-makers. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic sales and marketing team and will play a key role in shaping the company’s future client base.

What You’ll Do as a Business Development Executive:

  • Generate quality leads via cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking, and outbound marketing
  • Book first-time appointments with C-suite decision-makers, focused on value and fit, not just volume
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage prospect follow-up activities effectively
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align messaging and optimise lead engagement

What You’ll Need as a Business Development Executive:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, telemarketing, or business development, ideally within an MSP or IT support environment
  • Confident communicator with strong objection handling and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and resilient, with a clear understanding of long sales cycles
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle insured for business use
