Then you ll know they don t want to be sold to They want facts practicality, and above all, someone who understands what they re selling and who they re selling it to.

As Business Development Executive you know it isn t about pushing products for the sake of it, it s about building real relationships with people who need to trust you, just as much as they trust what you re offering.

As Business Development Executive, you ll be joining a £3 million turnover business in Shropshire with solid foundations and ambitious growth plans.
The product is clever, it works, and it opens doors across a wide range of industries. Aggregates. Food. Construction. Water. Oil and gas. Repair shops you name it.

And this is what makes the product stand out .

As compressed air is the 4th utility of the world, the applications for the product are vast. And no matter where in the world you are using this source of energy, water is the by product this is where the product leaps out of the crowd.
It works across a vast number of industries, from rail and mining to bodyshops and boatyards, giving you real scope and variety. UK and Internationally in the harshest of environments proving the product works each time, every time.
Customers can t believe just how amazing the product is.
It solves problems they have endured for years.

What does your role as Business Development Executive look like?

  • You ll start off in the office in Shropshire so you can get under the skin of the company, product, the process and the people.
  • If you re not local, you ll be able to work from home once you're up to speed, with regular time out on the road.
  • Your week will be split between building the pipeline, filling your diary, and getting out to visit customers whilst working closely with the office.
  • You ll be booking appointments for yourself and working alongside a new colleague who brings over 30 years of experience in the pneumatics industry. There s not much he doesn t know, and he ll be there to mentor and support you.
  • Some weeks will be more field-based, others more office focused.
  • As time goes on, you ll find what suits you best and your role as Business Development Executive can be shaped around your strengths.

What s in it for you as Business Development Executive?
You ll be paid a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, with commission paid on every sale, not just when you hit target.
Realistically, you ll earn £55,000 to £65,000 in your first year by year two, it could be £75,000 or more.
There s a company profit share too, everyone gets a slice of that.

You ll have flexibility around your working hours which are from 08:30-5:30, 28 days holiday which increases year on year up to an additional 8 days, and access to a pool car for appointments, if you use your own car, you ll be compensated fairly.

The offices are lovely, open plan, welcoming and you will be joining a close knit, supportive team all working towards the same goal.

Right now, the focus is on the UK market, but if you can build a solid business case to go further afield, they ll back you.

What kind of person fits this?
As a Business Development Executive, you re someone who knows how to write a proper follow-up email, speak to people without sounding like a script, and hold your own when you re talking technical.
You re comfortable on the phone, comfortable face to face, and at your best when you re helping people solve problems.
You must be a Team player and work closely with the team who have worked tirelessly for 6 years to create the market for the product through honest, fast and proactive approach to our customer base.
This isn t hard selling, it s relationship-led, steady, and built on trust.
