A leading UK university based in Edinburgh is seeking a part-time professional for a fixed-term role focused on sourcing market information on AI hardware products and driving commercialisation opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development and start-up propositions creation. This role offers a competitive salary and various staff benefits.

Grade UE08: £50,253-£61,759 per annum, pro rata
Part time: 7 hours per week
Fixed term contract: up to 12 months
The appointee will be responsible for sourcing market information on AI hardware products and drive strategic commercialisation opportunities for Prof Prodromakis’s RAEng Chair in Emerging Technologies.
The successful applicant will have prior experience with business development and the creation of start-up propositions.
This role is grade UE08 and is available on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months.
