Business Development Executive | Hybrid Growth Role

Location: Head Office (Office-based, with occasional customer visits)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 + Bonus (DOE)
Contract: Full-time | 40 hours per week
Development Pathway: Potential to progress into Business Development Manager within 2 years

About the Role

We’re seeking a driven, ambitious Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark, learn fast, and progress in a supportive but results-driven environment.

Whether you’re a junior candidate with 1–2 years’ experience looking for structured training, or a seasoned sales professional (5+ years) ready to hit the ground running, we have a tailored pathway for you.

  • 1–2 years’ experience: £28,000 + bonus, with the option of a fully funded 15-month sales apprenticeship programme (if under 25, this is almost completely government-funded).
  • 5+ years’ experience: £35,000 + bonus, with autonomy and the chance to lead customer relationships from day one.
What You’ll Do
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through telesales, networking, and prospecting.
  • Grow and nurture customer accounts, building long-term, solution-focused relationships.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals, converting leads into revenue.
  • Support the Business Development Managers in winning key projects.
  • Track performance through HubSpot CRM — managing your own pipeline and recording activity.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and excellent customer delivery.
