Job Description:
The role will be part of a successful, growing team focused on UK Central Government opportunities. The team is made up of salespeople who generate new opportunities and lead responses to large government procurement programmes. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Management: Spend time with customers onsite, maintaining high satisfaction to retain and grow revenue. Travel may be required.
- Contract Management: Work with delivery teams to meet commercial targets and ensure successful contract execution.
- Opportunity Management: Focus on new business development within existing accounts and new logos, leading sales opportunities through our Commercial team or strategic partnerships.
Job Objectives:
- Maintain and develop business primarily in existing accounts and new logos.
- Build strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
- Lead quarterly business reviews on performance, satisfaction, and improvements.
- Lead sales opportunities, including bids and proposals.
- Identify new opportunities through networking and lead generation techniques.
- Manage sales pipeline, prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments for proposals.
- Present sales proposals and conduct market research.
- Work with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing.
Qualifications:
- Experience in business development within the UK Public Sector.
- Knowledge of Public Sector tender processes and Government Frameworks.
- Experience in IT Services and technology solutions, not products.
- Strong influencing skills across multiple levels.
- Proven ability to build strong customer relationships.
