Overview

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Salary: £90,000 - £130,000 (depending on experience) + performance incentives

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Director to join a highly successful and growing commercial finance firm specialising in alternative investments. This is a key leadership role for a driven, relationship-focused professional who thrives on building business, developing networks, and delivering results.

You'll be working remotely as part of an ambitious, forward-thinking team, leading the charge on expanding the firm's client base across high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and professional investors both in the UK and internationally.

The Role
  • Lead all sales efforts across a portfolio of investment products, including listed and unlisted securities, fixed-interest and fixed-term bonds, and bespoke alternative investments.
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with HNWIs, family offices, professional investors, and key introducers.
  • Leverage your existing network while creating new opportunities across global markets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand client needs, market trends, and emerging investment opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding individual and team targets while maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction.
About You
  • We\'re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with relationship-building expertise. You will bring:
  • Proven success in selling investment products, ideally including listed/unlisted securities, fixed-term bonds, and alternative investments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A global outlook and experience managing international relationships and introducers.
  • An existing network within the high-net-worth and professional investor space would be highly beneficial.
